Our company is ethically responsible with our environment and nature. Our suppliers are in compliance of all local and international regulations established to prevent the illegal logging and prevent the deforestation of the Peruvian and Amazon rain forest.
Very strict controls and regulations are in place and local and international organizations supervise the extraction of species from the jungle. Endangered species such as Peruvian Mahogany (Caoba) and Spanish Cedar (Cedro) are under CITES protection and heavily controlled and enforced in customs in the exporter and importer countries.
The well forest management in place allows for a good balance between older and younger species and for the natural reforestation of the explored areas. New trees are replanted in areas were is necessary. Also the eradication of "dead" trees is done with the purpose of let the young trees to get the needed light to develop into mature trees.
